The Special Event Group offers planning in the national sports marketplace and has been supporting sporting events for many years. We serve as an essential resource for the procurement and planning of sporting events and garnering sponsorship dollars.

The TSEG offers many services that can assist in the different phases of your event planning process. We encourage you and your group to take advantage of the many services provided to assist you with the seamless preparation leading up to, during and after your event. We provide assistance in the following areas:

  • Request for Proposal (RFP) coordination – facilities, hotels and event service providers
  • Bid preparation, distribution and presentation
  • Site inspection coordination
  • Volunteer coordination
  • Liaison between event rights holder, sports facilities, hotels, and community leaders
  • Press and media coordination to assist with event promotion and awareness
  • Provide Long Island destination information such as maps, brochures, travel guides
  • Coordination of Pre & Post Event Tours
  • Additional assistance as needed
  • Assisting you in obtaining hospitality bids and room blocks
  • Event publicity & sponsorship activities
  • Event planning assistance
  • Volunteers to staff certain areas of your event
  • Registration assistants
  • Promotional materials such as Visitors Guides, area maps and attractions brochures
